Two million tickets sold ahead of Paralympics in Paris
The Paris Paralympics is poised to be a major sporting event, with over two million tickets already sold after the opening ceremony was held last night. This strong ticket sales performance indicates a growing public interest in Paralympic sports and the event’s potential to rival the success of the recent Olympic Games.
Despite some remaining tickets available, organizers are confident that sales will continue to climb throughout the competition. Popular sports such as wheelchair fencing, taekwondo, equestrian, shooting, and blind football have seen increased demand, while events like track cycling and triathlon have sold out completely.
Paris 2024 president Tony Estanguet expressed satisfaction with the ticket sales, noting that the Games are likely to see a surge in ticket purchases right up until the final days of competition. This trend mirrors the experience of the Olympics, where tickets were sold out in the hours leading up to the closing ceremony.
The Paralympics will feature a record number of participating nations, including refugee athletes and several countries making their Paralympic debut. International Paralympic Committee president Andrew Parsons described a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere among the athletes, emphasizing the potential for these Games to be the most spectacular ever: "It’s a combination of Paralympic sport being stronger than ever before, fantastic work by the organising committee and a great atmosphere in the city.”
Paris is well-positioned to deliver a memorable and successful Paralympic Games.

These cannabis gummies keep selling out in 2024
If you've ever struggled to enjoy cannabis due to the harshness of smoking or vaping, you're not alone. That’s why these new cannabis gummies caught our eye.
Mood is an online dispensary that has invented a “joint within a gummy” that’s extremely potent yet federally-legal. Their gummies are formulated to tap into the human body’s endocannabinoid system.
Although this system was discovered in the 1990’s, farmers and scientists at Mood were among the first to figure out how to tap into it with cannabis gummies. Just 1 of their rapid onset THC gummies can get you feeling right within 5 minutes!
